2024 wishes

This is not a post about my goals for 2024, it’s a post about the direction that I’d like my life to go in ideally. This is related to my goals, but not strictly what I’m going to do.

We all have a direction that we’d ideally like our lives to go in but if you’re not intentional or precise with those goals you end up in Gloucestershire with your phone on mute so you can avoid going to the works Christmas due which is on a Saturday.

It’s also fun to look back on posts like this a year later and see how my life has lined up against what I wanted it to become a year ago. Last year I said this year was about clearing debt, and it’s been a year that’s been even more financially difficult.

I hope that 2024 is further improvement and I don’t slip back into a bad place more than anything. I don’t think that I will let that happen, but who knows the challenges that will come, especially since I am moving again.

Career:

For my career it’s simple. All I want is a new job in finance/accounts that will provide me with a good wage while I can do my AATs. Once I qualify to work as an accountant, I will then look to get a job that allows me to earn more, but that probably won’t be in 2024 onwards.

I hope/pray for a job that has a good working environment. It’s been awful in Gloucestershire, some of the…
