4 Important Career Mistakes To Avoid In Your 20s
You’re young, you’re dumb, and you’re sure as fuck going to make a lot of mistakes. This is what it’s like to be in your 20s. Making mistakes is fine, but some mistakes you make career-wise are permanent and they can lead you to long periods of misery.
What you do for a living is one of the most important decisions you can make in your life. People act like their career isn’t that important, but you need to at least do something you can tolerate or you’ll be depressed. I’ve seen jobs destroy people, and it’s normally because they’ve made bad choices when they were young.
Being Afraid To Test The Waters And Quit Sometimes
When you’re young you’ve got more freedom, unless of course, you’re in particular circumstances. With that freedom comes the ability to try different jobs and quit them if they’re not for you.
What’s the point of wasting time on something you hate if you don’t plan to be there for the rest of your life? Get out quickly before you get pigeonholed into being something that you’re not.
You also have the ability to quit and get away from shitty people. You don’t have to live in misery at 20. You can try new jobs until you find a company with decent human beings.
