I always look at fake people like the witches from that Roald Dahl book, “The Witches” (creatively named). I don’t know if this is what he was going for, but it sums up how I feel about a lot of people I meet at work. They’re completely fake and when they’re in private they take their skin masks off revealing that they’re actually disgusting monsters with bad skin.

Fake people are all around you at work, and it’s a part of work culture that you’re going to have to accept or you’re going to drive yourself insane. But don’t for a second let your guard down as one of these monsters will get you if you do.
