Sometimes you have a good first interview, and then the second interview comes around and it leaves you completely unsure as to if you’re still in the employer’s good books. This is why I hate second interviews, all they do is allow more chance for doubt for both parties.

Second interviews are usually the same as the first interview unless there’s a test or you’re meeting a new person from the company. You don’t want to repeat yourself again, but you’re going to get asked similar questions from the first interview. You don’t want to come off as rude, but you are drained from the whole process and are tired of asking questions. You’re sick of jumping through hoops and just want a decision to be made.

They Rushed To End The Interview

If the interviewer doesn’t like you then they’ll try to get you out of there as quickly as possible. They’ll rush through questions and sometimes disregard the last few questions altogether because they’ve heard enough.

Appreciate this when it happens because you don’t want to have to suffer through a long interview. I’d rather someone end the interview early than make me answer questions when they’ve already made up their mind about me.
