A sad reality about life (if you want to look at it that way) is that most good things don’t come easy. Don’t get me wrong, some things do, but most of the time to have nice things you have to work for them.

People will say that you’re lucky when you have what you have as a result of years of hard work and sacrifice. Unfortunately, Gen Z, if you want that nice house you’re going to have to save for it and use a budget. It’s not a crime that you can’t live a luxury lifestyle at 23.

If you want a good partner you’re going to have to work on being a better person every day. If you want to be fit and healthy then you’re going to have to watch your diet and workout. Some people think that’s unfair and that’s the problem.

They think that good things should be given to them so they don’t go for them. They’ll complain though. I’ve accepted that life is going to be very hard if you want the very best, and that goes for everyone. The privileged and the not-so-lucky. There are varying degrees of difficulty, but it’s hard work nonetheless.

I like putting in the work but I get why people don’t
