Being open to new things makes you a weirdo
If you’re a person who’s genuinely open to new things you’ll know what I’m speaking about. You try new things, you’re open to ideas, and all of a sudden you become a bit of a weirdo to everyone else — or a massive weirdo in some cases, depending on what room you’re in.
Trying lots of new things is not something most people do as an adult. Most experimentation in life is done as a child and when people get older they try to make life as comfortable as possible. This has pros and cons.
A pro is that you don’t stand out.
I get it though, no one is open to everything, whether it be to personal experience or just knowing better. Just because you’re open to new things, doesn’t mean that you’re an idiot who has to accept everything. So no, I don’t have to wear a dress.
Life is about experimentation
If you don’t experiment with your life you aren’t going to go anywhere. How are you going to know if something works if you’ve not tried it yourself? You can learn from the experiences of others but sometimes you still need to try that thing yourself.
Sometimes other people fail due to not being capable, not wanting it enough (or at all), or lacking information. Just because a few other people failed It doesn’t mean it’s impossible or…
