Call centre people…

If you’ve ever worked in a call centre, you don’t need to read the rest of this post, you know what I’m about to say. You’ve experienced it, you’ve survived it, or you’re currently going through it and are looking for an escape.

Fucking call centre people.

Of all the entry-level no skill required jobs, I think call centres have some of the most fucked up people. This is why you only want to work in a call centre environment once, that’s all you can take normally, but I’ve had to do it 3 times now in person and a few times WFH during covid.

Although I’m not in the call centre, I am in a company that is predominantly a call centre, so you have to deal with all the same types of people. These lost disturbed people. I need to keep some holy water on me to keep myself safe.

The lack of maturity

I think one of the main reasons why some people like to work in call centre environments is because they’re supposed to be fun, and when I say fun, I mean you have to play lots of games that are designed for children. The people who like to do this shit at work are typically people who’re emotionally stunted.

Physically they’re 40 but mentally they’re not a day past 20 years of age. They like dumb people fun which is kids games.
