Can you hate your job and still be happy?
Work is such an important factor in your life, so if you hate your job, and want to die for the 8 or whatever hours you’re doing it, can you still be happy? Can the rest of your life bring you so much satisfaction that hating your job won’t carry over?
What type of hate is it?
There are different levels and types of hate. You may hate your job but not to the point that it’s that serious. Some people hate the tasks they’re given and the customers, not the people or the company so it’s not too bad.
If you hate your colleagues and the company in general then it’s a different story as that’s where the real problems come from, and also if the customers bully you all day.
I would say it’s the personal toll that really makes work shit, along with being mentally and physically tired.
You spend so much of your time working
It’s hard not for work not to affect the rest of your life as you spend so much of your life doing it. You don’t get many hours away from it so even if you’re enjoying your life away from it, it doesn’t last. Sometimes you’re not able to fully appreciate your life away from work because it sucks so hard.
