Childfree people make me want a family

Childfree is a term that should not exist. No one needs a buzzword for deciding to not have kids, it shouldn’t be seen as a status symbol or even looked at as unusual.

I’m not sure why people decided to do this, maybe it’s as a reaction to the negativity some people have towards those who go against the “norm”, or maybe it’s because they’d like to highlight their lifestyles without kids, and why it’s way more fun.

One thing I do know is that as someone very unlikely to have kids, I can’t stand Childfree people. They’re so cringe at times they make me want to have 6 kids.

Let’s get something clear, I don’t mind people who don’t have kids, what I don’t like is the Childfree people who go on about it all the time as if they’re special.

The need to make everything a community

I understand that people without kids are more likely to relate to other people without kids, but there is no need to make not having kids your personality. Honestly, the shit people use as a personality is strange at times.

Very few, if anyone cares that you decided not to have kids. Definitely no one outside of your immediate circle cares. Maybe your parents, siblings, and friends do, but not anyone else. Live your life, I don’t get the need to make an…
