The delusions of small business owners

Remember when everyone was saying support small businesses during the pandemic? I wasn’t, well not any more than I usually do anyway.

I get that they’re good for the economy, and for the area in general but a lot of the owners are deluded assholes, and I don’t want to support deluded asshole’s deluded dreams.

They think they’re doing everyone a favour

Small business owners have this habit of thinking that you owe them something. Not all of them, but some think that you need them more than they need you.

You’re my closest shop, but you’re not the only shop, and I will go elsewhere if you don’t provide good products and services without the attitude.

They think they’re more humble than big business owners

Small business owners think that they’re more humble than big business owners just because their business is small. Small business owners rarely think any differently than big business owners. They just either don’t want to manage a big business, or they don’t have the skills to grow theirs.

They’re just as arrogant and treat their staff like shit. They’re actually worse because you have to see them on a daily basis. Big owners are usually invisible so their staff…
