Do we need to eat 3 meals a day?

In many cultures you’re told that you’re supposed to eat 3 meals a day then you’d also snack here and there in between. In the modern day, people are experimenting with their diet and some have moved away from the standard 3 meal a day model.

Some people do it because they lack time to eat 3 meals a day. Other people have stopped because they don’t see eating three meals a day as necessary in this day and age when you live in the west.

*Before I go any further I would like to say I am not a health expert and you shouldn’t take my word for anything.

Eating 2 meals a day

I’ve been eating 2 meals a day for around 9 months now and I have to say, I feel no difference in my energy, concentration or hunger.

I’ve lost weight since I began and managed to maintain it without thinking about it too much.

I will say that I’ve made big moves forward in my overall health regimen and mentioning this is important. People always go on about their diets but don’t mention everything else they do.

I only drink water and coffee, I walk more, and I have cut out a lot of bad foods from my main meals. Being healthy involves a lot of different things it is a lifestyle after all.
