What do I mean by a vampire?

I mean someone that drains you of all of your energy like a vampire drains you of blood. We’ve all met people like this, they’re a constant problem in your life and their mere presence makes you feel tired as if you ran a marathon — but all you’ve done is listen to them speak about themselves, it’s always about them.

They do not leave you alone either, as long as there is energy left to drain and you allow them to drain it, they will be there. People like this are what make us develop into such cold hard people. We tried to be nice and this is where it got us… Hanging with Dracula.

How do they pick a host?

They go fishing.

They throw their bait out into the water and they see who bites. When you’re young, you’re going to bite a lot without knowing what you’re getting into. When you get a bit older you can see it more clearly although you can still get tricked, some of them are good.

Some people want to get caught, they’re just as empty as they are and want a co-dependent relationship to fill them up.
