Educating yourself doesn’t make you unmanly

One thing that I hate that many people still believe is that being educated makes you soft in some way. People don’t say these exact words, but they imply it. It’s a stereotype that we see at school a lot. The nerdy kids are weak and the cool kids are strong.

Like when people criticise you for using proper language instead of expressing yourself through nothing but swear words. Or when you choose to take the educated, passive choice rather than going right for hostility and aggression. Thinking things through and how your actions are going to affect you and others in the future is what pussies do.

In my opinion, education makes you strong. Learning new things, things that might contradict what you believe and accepting that they might be true is hard. You also have your mind opened to the reality of the world and all that comes with that. Facing the truth on a daily basis is something that only the strong can do, weak people live in denial which is ironically what a lot of the “stoics” do.

The perception of educated people

The perception of educated people is that they’re soft and cowardly people. They’re skinny, quiet, and scared of any type of conflict. They’re also not manly, which is why women will never date them. Of course, this isn’t true, well partially.
