Entitled habits that will hold you back in your career
If you ask the average worker if they’re valued correctly by their employer, they’ll tell you they’re overworked and underpaid. Some people say this because they think it’s a witty comment, and others genuinely believe this BS.
When you watch them for a day, you’ll realise that they’re fairly paid for the work they do and they don’t often break a sweat.
People often overvalue themselves is what I’m saying, and they don’t realise how replaceable they are or how easy their job is. They don’t realise that a chimp could copy and paste and they don’t deserve to get paid as much as footballers. I’m sorry, but being a high-level athlete is hard and being overweight in an office isn’t.
Thinking that your employer owes you something
Many people nowadays think that their employer owes them something, and they’re right. Their employer owes them a paycheque and a good work environment, and they should give them the tools to do their job well. Other than that it’s all a bonus.
You see some people keep asking for more from their employer and they shit on their employer if they don’t get it. All these weird accessories they don’t use, luxuries in the kitchen, and of course a raise with no extra responsibility. They must have all of…
