Getting rich vs moving abroad

I’ve always wanted to leave the UK, and as time goes on I think I am more and more justified in that decision. But it’s a huge decision and one that doesn’t only affect me. It’s also something that I may not have to do as there are alternatives.

One of those alternatives is getting rich.

When you’re wealthy, the world gets smaller and all of a sudden you have more control over your life. You don’t have to travel the world to run away from a specific place because moving around is easier and your local area is much bigger so where you live isn’t such a big deal.

There are people based in a neighbouring country to their own and travel in between regularly just because they can. Enjoy the French lifestyle whilst visiting the UK to work and see the family you didn’t bother taking with you.

This is why I wanted to build wealth

The reason why I wanted to build wealth was so I could live a fuller more flexible life, and travel is part of that. I don’t care about going on holiday all the time. I don’t want to feel like I need to escape my life constantly, that means there are problems back home I’m ignoring.

All the people who I see travelling constantly don’t look content to me, they seem agitated, like something is bothering them. It’s not to say…
