How long do you stay at a bad job?

Unless you’re incredibly lucky, you’re most likely going to have at least 1 disaster of a job in your life. You’re going to want to leave this shithole every day, but it’s not that easy. Not having a job can be worse or equally as bad as having a shit job.

You’re happy because you’re no longer taking shit at work but you’re also scared and depressed because you don’t have any income and your bills are coming up. Plus there is the constant rejection from job applications that keep slapping you in the face.

I have had my fair share of shit jobs so one thing I can tell you is that there are different types of shit jobs that require a different approach to quitting. Some bad jobs are bearable whilst you’ll need to escape other jobs immediately or you could be trapped there for a long time.

Quitting immediately

When do you quit a job immediately? I’d say when the job is so toxic that it’s physically impossible for you to go to work every day. You feel sick and you’re so messed up that you can’t even be yourself. The people are horrible and the job doesn’t make sense, what makes it worse is that the people are so horrible that you can’t ask them to make sense of your job.
