How On Earth do you Find Good Business Connections?

When starting a business you’re always told to build connections. Connections help you get in contact with people and opportunities that will help you grow. They can also provide you with help and advice that will provide you with a shortcut to success.

The only problem is that connections are hard to find, and good connections are even harder to get a hold of.

Inorganic Connections Don’t Work

Getting connections for the sake of connections does not work. It is actually easy to find connections, but if you’re just exchanging details for the sake of it, I don’t class that as a real connection. I don’t know what you’d call it other than a waste of time.

Real connections serve a purpose and even if you don’t have anything you could collab on now, there will potentially be something in the future.

There are so many networking events, websites, and groups going on, but very few people of value participate in them. They’re mostly an idea stealing session that will leave you with a bunch of numbers you’ll never contact in your phone.
