This is the most important post I’ve ever written as I’m going to give you some advice on how to play the corporate game. All my advice is going to come from my real-life experience and I’m going to tell you what works and what doesn’t work.

The corporate game isn’t that hard. It just takes a certain type of person to pull it off. The type of person who has no morals or respect for anyone else, and is only concerned with number one. I am not like this, so I failed, but with my advice, you can go on and become a true corporate beast.

Be The Solution To The Companies Problem

It’s one thing having the skills and experience for a role. But what you want to do is make yourself look like what the company needs. That’s not just skill-wise, but personality, dedication, and ambition-wise too.

What the company truly wants is not always what they advertised on the job ad. They might be looking for something else too, and you need to figure out what that is.

Listen carefully to what they say as they may be throwing hints at you. Listen to what they emphasise and repeat in the interview, and mould your answers to suit.
