I can’t afford a long-distance relationship, babe
I’m broke babe so I can’t afford to be with you, that’s unless you want to be the breadwinner in the relationship.
But seriously, I have been presented with the opportunity to date a few women who were far away (the power of the internet), but I can’t do it as I can’t afford it. Dating is expensive enough as it is, but distance increases that x10.
I don’t know how I did it when I was in my early 20s earning 1 shilling an hour, but I did. I just thought about my ex and I hate that prick, what a dickhead. Typical girl from Swindon, but that’s not the point of this post.
I was speaking to a girl in the Netherlands and she wanted me to visit. But I couldn’t tell her that I couldn’t afford a flight despite the fact it was fairly cheap.
At another time I was speaking to a girl in Essex which would mean cross-country commutes, but for some reason, it’s harder to travel sideways across the country than up and down.
I didn’t like either of their personalities so I didn’t have to humiliate myself. But I don’t like the idea of not being able to expand my reach to women far away, but the ones near me now aren’t bad. I follow a beautiful woman from Brazil on IG, but I can’t be her trick because of all this debt. The struggle.
