I can’t have a human conversation with any of my work colleagues

The corporate world is full of fake people, and I have learned to accept this fact as depressing as it is. But at my current company, the people here are so fake I’ve not had 1 genuine conversation since I’ve been here and it’s been 8 months. Thankfully this won’t last much longer as I’m leaving at the end of the month.

I’ve finally managed to get another job, and whilst this job might also be toxic at least it’s not in Gloucester. But ironically my manager is from Gloucester so I can’t escape. We’ll see how it goes anyway. It’s not a corporate company so it’s a win and I’m going to be working with 1 other person and I get 3 days WFH.

I am only in the office 8 more days before I get to escape this freakshow, so it’s only 8 more days until this torture is over. I plan to leave earlier than I said in my notice as I’m owed time back and interest has added up over that time.

I also don’t want to go into the office on my last day and deal with all the fakeness.
