I hate my coworkers – all of them

I am the first to say that you don’t need to be best friends with your coworkers, and I’ll go a step further and say you don’t actually have to like any of them. Liking your colleagues is a bonus and genuine friendships with them is icing on top.

But you need to be able to tolerate them, and last year I was in a situation I’ve never been in before. I hated every member of my team to the point I struggled to interact with them.

This was probably the most frustrating I had been in my life for a good while. It wasn’t only for a few days or weeks, it was for months. It takes a lot to piss me off, but some people just aren’t for me. Their existence contradicts mine and we shouldn’t be around each other.

If I hate people at work it’s usually the minority. I generally don’t care about anyone else, or I may like a few people. But at this company, I hated every single one of them, and I think I was justified in that. I’m speaking about the people on my team, I didn’t get to know anyone else tbf.

Some of them were weird though. Like the girl who tried to get my attention by walking into me.

They were overly corporate

There is a level of corporate that you expect when you go into a workplace, especially one in insurance; but this place was ridiculous…
