I Hate Working In An Office
I know I’m not alone in this, and thankfully as of 1 month ago I no longer have to do it. I’ve finally achieved one of my smaller dreams of not working in an office. But I wish it didn’t have to be this way, and I wish that I could work in one, but office life is so difficult.
Many people over the past 18 months have realised how much better not being In the office is, and that’s why some have quit their job so they don’t have to go back. Companies are now forced to offer part remote work because they’re scared of losing staff.
Getting To Work
Why I hate offices starts with the travel, but I know that a lot of this isn’t office exclusive, it’s just life. Unless your company has onsite parking, you have to pay a lot of money just to get to work.
I don’t mind paying for petrol, but I will never pay for parking. I don’t want to be at this job, so I’m not paying massive amounts just to get there.
“Well, why don’t you just take public transport?”
Because that’s even more expensive, and not reliable. If public transport was actually good, then I’d use it more. I wouldn’t use it all the time because I already have a car. I’m not going to pay for public transport on top of running a car, and I’m not giving up my car, I like to explore places other than my…
