I have just been “fired” for the 3rd time this year

If you’ve been following me for a while, you’ll know I’ve lost 2 jobs this year. The first job was only a weekend job. They were losing money and customers so they let a bunch of people go. My only problem with that was the fact they gaslighted me and said it was my fault.

They didn’t think I’d notice the lack of customers or that other long-term staff had vanished.

The next job I got fired from was as a finance assistant. I was still on probation and throughout that time my manager tried to bully me. She exhausted every method, and when she saw it didn’t work she got rid of me.

Turning up to work on time and leaving on time shows a poor work ethic apparently.

This next one is funny and typical of my experience in finance.

I got fired for doing my job

That’s right, I got fired for doing my job. Let me provide some context so it makes sense to you.

So I joined a seemingly cool company. It was a sustainable company that helped other companies save money on their energy whilst being more sustainable. It had a cool vibe when I joined and the people were nice, and I still like most of them now. There was no bitter jealous type of atmosphere.
