I have no skills or interests

This was me about 5 years ago, I had nothing I could do to a high level and I wasn’t interested in anything that could make me any money. A lot of people think this about themselves this way and give up, but there is a path to the light.

If you believe that you can’t do anything then you won’t, mindset is key. I’ve seen very useless people go far in their fields purely out of self-belief alone. Sometimes you need a healthy little bit of delusion.

Skills can be learnt

It’s funny when people say they have no skills and give up, it’s like they don’t realise that most skills don’t come naturally to people. In order to get good at something you’re going to have to pick something to do and keep pushing at it until you’re eventually good at it. This is the simplest way to put it anyway.

To get really good at something, you’re going to need to put years of work in, and the younger you are the better. If you’re not willing to do this then you have to ask yourself if you’re really that interested in what you’re doing.

Or you might just be lazy, and a lot of people are.
