I like the game of making money

A lot of people avoid topics when it comes to money because it scares them. They’re scared to look at what most of their money goes on, they’re scared to think about how much they get paid, and they’re scared to plan for the future as they may think there isn’t one.

Looking at your finances is a form of self-reflection and most people are terrified of it. Yes, you have to learn about yourself and take responsibility for your behaviour — there should be a horror film made about this topic.

If you don’t put a conscious effort into making money then you’re going to end up broke, and many people are. But I like the game of making money. You get to learn a lot of things that aren’t all about money, plus you get to have some adventures and meet cool people.

I think it’s helped make me more confident again and shown me that everything is going to be ok.

It’s added some purpose to my life

Making money is one of a few purposes that I’ve given to myself in recent years. It’s given me more of a direction in my life and it’s forced me to be more stable in many ways. I know where I’m going and I don’t think I’m going to veer off the path I’m on because it’s not for me.
