I work for a Christian cult part 2

Things are getting weird now and I’m probably going to have to leave this job sooner rather than later.

The main reason is that I’ve got high targets and they still are avoiding teaching me my job. My manager has taken days off and faked being in 3-hour meetings to get out of it.

I’ve complained about this and instead of getting their shit together they’re now watching me closely and reporting back about me in secret.

I don’t think I’ll make it past probation regardless, they clearly don’t like me anymore.

The killing of bugs and birds

I’ve been reading an article today about a teacher who worked for one of the cult’s schools.

One thing that stuck out to me (aside from the fact they think that non-members and non-whites don’t have souls) is that the kids spoke about killing animals and bugs.

The guy who sits next to me did the same. He spoke about how he and his friend killed birds and collected them in a sack when they were kids. He also mentioned how he’d love to get into taxidermy and how he loves to kill bugs.

Some people say that’s a sign of a psychopath, and if anything is going to create a psychopath it’s this cult. They’re not a very empathetic loving group of people.
