I’ve left the Christian cult-owned company I worked for, putting my life at risk.

Although I have lots of job interviews lined up, I could fail all of them. It’s not as simple as having my pick of jobs although I am hopeful for the future.

It had to be done and I’m glad to be free. Hopefully, I never have to think about that place or those people again.

Knowing that they live among us will always have me looking over my shoulder.

They should be used to it

They should be ok with me leaving as so many people have left in the past. People left the company for one reason or another almost every week I was there.

It’s a hard work environment to be in understandably and most people don’t last long. My manager told me himself about how people never lasted in my role.

It never seemed to click that he might be part of the reason.

For whatever reason, they don’t change anything. They continue to withhold information from people and treat them like dirt and are surprised that people are quitting.

It’s not all the Brethren’s fault, the non Brethren are terrible people too, some arguably worse.

I don’t feel bad
