If I'm going to play the game, I want to be in the majors
I’ve moved to a small town in order to be closer to the outdoors and have a more relaxed lifestyle, but it hasn’t taken long for me to want to go to a place where it’s all happening. Don’t get me wrong, there are things I love about living here that I will miss once I leave, but I have learned that overall it’s best to be in the action.
Not just outside the action, not with one toe in the water, you have to go all in. So that’s what I’m going to do. And believe me, when I come back, I’m going to be all guns blazing.
I want to go back to perfecting my life so I can move forward and be better than the rest. I feel like I have found the career to do this in but I need to find the confidence to challenge myself again.
Playing in the lower leagues is boring
Boring and weird and not even the fun type of weird. It’s not even that it’s too easy, yes, the jobs are easy and there is no competition, but the fact that most people are so mediocre makes everything way harder. Working with people who can’t be bothered is harder than anything else. It turns a simple task into rocket science.
But there aren’t many challenges and 99% of the people are forgettable. I try to be engaged but it’s not easy. People are so caught up in corporate…
