I’m being forced into a side hustle
I don’t believe in 1 stream of income, I think it’s dumb. Fair enough to the people who can have 1 stream and be ok, but I and many others can’t do that. Sometimes I think that I’m being forced into a side hustle out of necessity, and if it continues I may have to find one full-time.
Becoming self-employed would make so much sense but I still haven’t found my thing yet. When I see people hustle I’m like yeah, I have the drive but not the passion for doing boring shit for money.
Right now my side hustles are Medium and flipping things. Flipping is new, and I wish I was smart enough to do this a long time ago as it’s basically just dropshipping but easier. Medium isn’t a real side hustle but it makes enough money to that it counts.
In an ideal world, I’d make money only from my 9–5 along with saving and investments, but life has made me become savvy. I think I’m gonna get back into my hustle bag for real. I’m sick of being poor and not in control of my life.
Life has always been like this
When people think about having to get a side hustle to pay the bills, they should realise that life has always been like this for many of us. People have always had to do what they can on the side to pay the bills and people who grew up with nothing know this better than anyone.
People who live in bigger cities like New York or London should be all too familiar. People are always hustling because they need to pay sky-high rent and they want to live a decent standard of lifestyle.
People who live in smaller more country areas can do this too because there are fewer opportunities. It’s casual suburban people who don’t need to hustle.
