Is Corporate Life Worth It?
If you’re considering a corporate job, you must know at least a little bit about what corporate life is like. It’s generally a cutthroat environment that revolves around making money, and lots of it.
You might think that sounds great but it’s not for everyone, and that’s why so many people are so miserable in the corporate world. Before you get into the corporate world, you have to ask yourself are the benefits worth all of the trouble.
It’s Hard To Get Good Hours
Although you can get good hours in the corporate world, finding a company that is willing to give you them is hard. It’s more of a luck of the draw. Most companies are a variation of your standard 9–5, and although that’s the norm for most jobs, people have realised that it’s not that practical for the modern-day lifestyle.
It’s hard to find part-time work as no one wants a part-time body when they could easily get someone to fill the position full-time. You’re more likely to find a job with longer hours than shorter ones if I’m being honest.
You Can Make Good Money, But Only If You Have A Skill
You can get into the corporate world with no skills but you’re not going to make much money unless you stay at a company for a long time and work your way up.
