It’s hard to compare as I’ve never lived in the US, but one thin I will say is that Americans have told me that they find it easier over here.

With that being said, it’s hard to go anywhere in the UK as a POC. Most are in low level roles and accept what they can get as they usually come from poverty.

The UK has a lot of classism and nepotism so naturally the POCs are blocked. No one speaks about these issues like they do in the US so there is no pressure to change.

I think that’s the main difference. British POCs don’t say anything publicly.
