Just because you’re oppressed doesn’t mean you’re an angel
Oppression is misleading because just because you’re oppressed doesn’t mean that you’re a good person, yet people will assume the opposite a lot of the time. You can be oppressed and be an asshole but when a person is being oppressed some people ignore that part.
I guess you are a victim, but you have to take responsibility for your bullshit too. You have to see that you are the problem in a lot of situations which blurs lines. People are unsure if you’re really being oppressed or if you’re just unlikeable, and so are you at times.
Do people hate you because of what you are? Or because you swore at them and spat in their kid's faces? It’s a mystery we may never know the answer to.
The moral high horse
When you’re oppressed the moral high ground is easy to take and there isn’t much anyone can say about it. When you’re an oppressed person who’s actively being oppressed or someone like you is, you’re invincible when it comes to being the good guy.
For example, Palestinians can talk shit to anyone and be completely irrational and no one can combat them. I’ve seen it. I’ve seen people of Palestinian descent being rude to others and requesting unrealistic things whilst promoting their own personal brands.
