Last year was about clearing debt, all that happened was that I got more debt

I look at this title and laugh because sometimes when you set goals the exact opposite happens to what you wanted despite putting in a real effort. I did set out to clear debt last year, but by the end of the year, I was worse off.

I actually did clear off one of my huge debts, but that was accumulated during that year when my car broke down. It’s like my car provided a shield for my other debts, it’s something it would do.

Sometimes you have to go backwards to go forwards. Although I’m still apparently accumulating more debt, I now have a plan (for the short term) at least. My debts are long-term and high, so it’s not like I can clear them with a few months of consistency.

If something goes wrong then it all blows up. Right now I don’t have enough for rent as I’ve had to keep changing jobs due to my treatment and the fact I can only get temp roles right now. My job is high paying but I only get paid weekly.

My job problem

I really can’t keep a job and it’s why I’m so determined to work for myself now. Enough is enough. It doesn’t matter what I do, I can’t operate in the workplace. Even at my new job, it’s pretty chill but people who don’t speak to me are mad that I don’t speak to them.
