Living with parents vs moving out as an adult

More people in the West are living at home with their parents well into adulthood. It used to be something that was made fun of and associated with people who had no lives.

It’s still looked at that way but losers have a voice now and they try and make all the weird shit they do seem normal.

There is nothing wrong with living at home if you’re doing it for the right reasons. If you can’t afford to move out, then that’s valid, but if you don’t want to be independent then that’s lame.

People from different cultures stay at home until they’re married or until they get one arranged for them. Weird the weird ones in the West for leaving home when we’re broke.

At the end of the day, there is value in moving out and staying at home. It’s not quite a black-and-white topic with a right or wrong outcome.

The subject of money

Houses are more expensive than ever and going up in value every day, but in some places, the wages aren’t increasing at the same rate. So if some people were to move out then they’d have to spend a long time saving before they could buy a home.

*A trick is to buy a home in China as they’re giving them away for 20p. Long commute to work though.
