My journey into investing as a side hustle has been met with many obstacles
By now, I was hoping to be speaking about all the debt I’ve cleared, but due to my circumstances, I’ve not managed to put any extra money towards my debt. So I am not close to investing anything at all, but no one said this was going to be easy.
As I’ve struggled to get a second job I’m starting an e-commerce store again, and I think it’s going to be what I do in the long term future. I’ve been wondering what to do for a living for years, but instead of jumping from industry to industry, I’ve decided to start my own business.
There is nothing I want to do for a living, but starting my own business is as close to a “dream job” as I can get.
The move
My move from Cheltenham to Birmingham was more expensive than I thought, so expensive I’ve had to borrow money from my mum again. It would have been a little better if I wasn’t fired during the process, but here we are.
I’ve had to pay a full month's rent from my old place as it was in the contract to pay up to the next payment date — and it has to be a month as well.
I actually left before the day my rent came out, so I had to pay up until the next pay date. I left on the 5th, and my rent was due on the 10th, but I had to “stay” until the…
