Narrow-minded British people are trying to ruin my life
As I’ve mentioned in previous posts I’ve been fired 3 times this year. Once because the company was losing money, once because my manager wasn’t able to bully me effectively, and last week because my colleagues were afraid that I’d expose them for not doing their jobs.
When I look at all the issues I have at work I try to see the commonalities to pinpoint the problem. It’s not only about looking at cases where I did get fired, but cases where I almost got fired and ones where people tried to force me out. When I do that the answers are clear.
I am not a controversial figure in the workplace, but I am one who gets targeted a lot by bad people, and that’s not normal. I don’t know anyone who gets as much shit as I do but the only people I know who can relate are black people.
Because of this, I can’t build a life and I’m scraping by. In my 20s it wasn’t such a big deal, but now I’m months away from being 30 and I’m still in the same cycle. I see black people thriving across the world and very few if any live in the UK.
The narrow-mindedness of it all
The UK is a fairly narrow-minded place and I don’t think that’s up for debate. People wonder why British people are so weird and narrow-mindedness is the answer.
