Old people are so soft nowadays

Old people love to complain about the youth and how soft they are, and I’m not going to lie, they’re mostly right. Younger generations in developed countries typically get softer as time goes on due to the comfort and innovations made to make life easier.

There was once a time when people were happy to have any job they could get, and now we live in a time where people aren’t happy unless they get to work from home most of the time. I am one of these people, I want to work from home all the time actually.

But let’s not pretend that softer young people doesn’t mean that old people aren’t going to be softer too. Those young people grow up, and whilst life hardens them, they don’t always become the steely stoics they claim to be.

Young people are selfish

Young people nowadays are all about themselves and never have time for anyone else, says the boomer. Whilst young people are selfish I think that people forget how bad older people were and still are.

The Boomer generation has a reputation for being the selfish generation, and whilst I think that’s not entirely true when you compare them to other generations, that reputation doesn’t come from nowhere.
