People are stuck in the matrix

Not to sound like Andrew Tate, but this is a great way to describe what I see on a daily basis. I’m not saying that people are being controlled and there are higher-ups out to get us, I’m saying that people live in a reality that’s been created by society and they’re voluntary prisoners. The Matrix is something that humans choose to live in, it’s not something that we have to live in. But at the same time we don’t choose to live in it because most people aren’t aware that they live in it.

It’s much safer to stay in the Matrix than to get out of it and see the world for what it is. And no, just because you live in isolation doesn’t mean that you can see things for what they are you Goober. You live alone in the country because you’re a difficult person to be around, not because all other people are evil.

I guess what I’m talking about is willful blindness mixed with a lack of self-awareness and being too stuck in your culture. I will explain this below as I know it probably doesn’t make too much sense right now.
