Pretending to do your job is way harder than actually doing it

When you work you’re naturally going to run into lazy people, you might even be one yourself if you’re an idiot. Lazy people take many forms and operate in different ways, but something almost all of them do is pretend to do their job.

I think this approach is a joke on the lazy person because it’s much harder than actually doing the job most of the time. When you’re cheating at anything it’s important to think about the effort involved and the knock-on effect of the cheating. Many people don’t which is why they end up working harder than people that just got on with what they were paid to do.

Living in fear of being caught

I’m sure some people love the fear of being caught, it’s like when you participate in voyeurism, the excitement and fear are what get you off. But for many people, the fear of getting caught is a constant stress that they hate to live with.

They’re always looking over their shoulders unsure of who to trust, and they’re paranoid that people know. Why did Jennie give you that look just now? Is she on to something or is she just being a snide bitch like always?

This type of uncertainty is unbearable to live with.
