So, I’ve become a nomad, now what?

I’ve gone and done it; I’ve become a digital nomad — a real one. I don’t work for myself, but I do get paid a good amount of money to do something that I enjoy.

I can also live wherever I want, it’s not one of those remote jobs that require you to stay in one country, so what do I do now?

I don’t want to travel the world

Most nomads I see online became nomads so they can travel the world for no reason. I however don’t want to do this, if I was to travel the world, I would need a real purpose, or I wouldn’t enjoy it.

I crave purpose like many people and travelling around the world just to look at shit isn’t a goal of mine. The best travellers are on a mission, and they experience different countries and cultures as a result of that.

I don’t know where to settle

I’ve been thinking about where to settle for years now, and I’ve tried a few places that weren’t for me. I really don’t want to keep moving, it’s a pain in the ass, I want to be around nice people who I can relate to.

I want to wake up every day and feel satisfied with where I live and love the people that surround me. Not literally love them, but feel good in my environment, and people are a large part of that.
