Someone once told me that company loyalty is a brain-damaged trait. I can’t remember who this was, or if anyone actually said this, it could have been something I thought to myself… it sounds like something I would think to myself.

Anyway, I say this to say that company loyalty is something that you’d think would be valuable but actually means nothing in the real world. You should realise this very quickly after joining the workforce, but a lot of people are still shocked when they’re laid off with little notice and for a poor reason.

The most loyal beings on Earth are dogs and Taylor Swift fans, and do you want to know why they’re loyal? because they have small brains like people who genuinely think their company cares about them.

A Taylor Swift fan.

Some companies do care

I would like to start this off by saying there are actually companies out there that care about their employees. They are few and far between and that’s because they’re normally the ones that go out of business. How are you supposed to grow an empire whilst looking after entitled idiots? It’s either one or the other.

If you’re looking for a company that cares about you then you’re going to be looking for a long time, it’s best to find a team that cares about you. How do you know a team…
