The art of being unlikeable
This might be controversial, but I think it’s harder to be completely unlikeable than it is to be likeable. Being an unlikeable person is an art. It’s something that you have to put 1000 hours into and something that needs care to be perfected.
Now, I don’t believe there is a single person on this planet who aims to be disliked by everyone, this is what makes it more impressive. Yes, you’re not going to get along with everyone and there will always be people that dislike you, but being disliked by everyone is impressive.
When I say disliked by everyone I mean by good people. If you’re disliked by bad people then you’re doing something good.
Some terrible people I’ve met have people that like them. It’s normally other awful people and they like them for dumb reasons, but it’s still someone. When you meet these people you realise how much it takes for everyone to dislike you.
You have to lose all self-awareness
To be someone who's truly hard to be around you have to transcend self-awareness. You have to lose the barrier of self-awareness that's stopping you from becoming the piece of shit you were born to be.
It’s not only about being a bad person, it’s about being one that's hard to be around. Not understanding social cues, speaking too much…
