The difference between male and female management

Who is better at managing a team? Is it man, or is it woman? Does it actually matter? and is this even going to the be subject of this post? The answer may surprise you…

No, it doesn’t matter and it’s not going to be the subject of this post. It’s not a man vs woman post I don’t really care about that, it’s about observations I’ve made about male and female management, as well as what they have in common.

I think men and women manage in different ways, and they both have their pros and cons, but of course, you have to remember the individual as well. Not every human is the same and cultural factors come into it as well. Not to mention the industry.

Caringness

I think female managers are more caring than male managers, well, they show it more anyway. I think it would be weird for a male manager to be overly caring because he’d look like a predator.

In my experience female managers are more caring to other women naturally, and older members of the team. As for the other members — not so much.

Men are more caring to younger women because they demand it, and that’s about it. Other than that, they aren’t interested and I like that about them. The one person I don’t want to care about me on an emotional level is my manager, they’re…
