The Food Diaries Episode 1: I don’t know if I should be doing this here
I am now going to be keeping track of what I eat and how I feel about it. I’m doing this because I have been in a “study” of sorts for an app which has been forcing me to do the same thing.
The idea is for the app to encourage me to think differently about food by providing motivational quotes and asking myself how I feel about what I ate that day.
My diet isn’t too bad, but I want to continue doing this and I’m not paying for that app, I’m not made of money (I spend it all on food). I don’t know if I should be doing this here or on a separate blog, but who cares really?
It’s all about reflection and keeping myself accountable. I do this for other areas of my life, but food is not one of them, and it’s actually something we should all do. If you look back on what you’ve eaten during the week it’s a reflection of who you are.
It’s hard for a lot of people (including myself) to look back at some of the shit we’ve eaten as it reveals we’re not as healthy as we think we are.
Overview
