The story Tobit

Tobit is a guy whom I used to be friends with when I was a teenager up until I was a young adult with a spell in the middle where we didn’t speak. The reason I’m writing about him is because he’s weird and I like weird people.

I don’t like him though, just because I like weird people, doesn’t mean I want them in my life. Not all weird is good weird, most of it is actually bad like he was and still probably is.

I tried to like him but he was too socially awkward even for me, a socially awkward person, even more so at the time. He wasn’t only socially awkward, he was also selfish, brash, stupid, and arrogant, a bit like a Redditor.

He was Nepalise, short for a guy, skinny, and quite nerdy. He lacked self-esteem and self-awareness, like a Redditor.

How we met

We met at school and I think we were in year 9. He got kicked out of his old school, I can’t remember why, but it wasn’t a big deal or I would remember. I think it was actually something very minor.

He was on the other side of the year (each year/grade got split into 2 sides because of the amount of kids, I’m not sure how common that is elsewhere in the world) and he was spending time with a friend of mine who came and played football with us at lunch.
