The weirdest ways I’ve tried to pick up women

Listen here women, picking you up isn’t easy. It’s embarrassing and confusing, especially when you’re new to it. Now that I’m nearly 30 I don’t get so nervous when trying to speak to women, and I don’t do it in such weird ways. But back in the day, I was a mess, but it was an adventure.

There was a time when I tried to pick up women in weird ways and let me tell you this one thing… It didn’t work… ever. Looking back if I had more confidence in myself and if I had better social skills — I could have a single baby mother to pay for right now.

The recruitment agent

You have to speak to women at any chance that you get, you never know when you’ll see them again. This is what I thought anyway. I tried it on with a recruitment agent over email after a job she recommended fell through.

We were supposed to be working together long term and I thought she was pretty and easy to speak to. I just would not stop emailing her though, and I thought she was into it, but then I got an email from her manager…

In my opinion, I was wrong to keep bothering her but she should have just stopped replying. I wasn’t being overly flirtatious I was just pestering her whilst she was trying to get me a job so she could get some commission.
