There is no reason to be selfish in business

Business is cutthroat and dog it dog, but I don’t understand why, even as someone who’s been in business for themselves in multiple ways. Being selfish makes everything harder for everyone, including the offending party.

Most of the time it’s ego and cheapness. Business owners like to get one over on others and they like to pay as little as they can to do so.

Being selfish makes simple things a whole situation that drags out for a very long time. Business owners are all about being efficient unless it means gaining a microscopic advantage over someone that’s trying to be cordial.

What you put out comes back at you

Karma is very real even in business so be careful how you treat others. This goes for your staff as well as your competitors. If you’re constantly screwing people, eventually people won’t want to do business with you.

If you’re constantly screwing your employees you’ll develop a poor reputation and people won’t want to work for you. You’ll have to start writing your own fake reviews because you have no one to write them for you.
