What would you do with your time if you were rich?

My goal is to get rich, but once I get rich what will I do? My goal is achieved so is there anything left to live for? I know it’s about the journey and not the destination, but rich is a pretty good destination. There are going to be lots of things I can do with my time when I get rich, things that I might not be able to comprehend right now as someone with a net worth of -£14k.

I have this horrible habit of waiting to live life. Life is to be lived now, not to be put on the back burner until I’ve achieved another goal. Unfortunately, I realised this when I got into debt. So now I don’t have a choice but to wait. I have a £600 energy bill coming up in March.

I’m not material

Luckily I’m not a material person so I don’t have ambitions of spanking all of my money. If I was rich I wouldn’t care too much about what I was living in, it would be more about the location. I don’t care at all about my car although I would replace my Dacia in a heartbeat. I would need a car that doesn’t turn and leak water like a boat. Why does it leak water? It’s a land vehicle.

This is why I have no doubt I’ll make money as long as I keep a job, I don’t have any material desires holding me back. Most people are held back by this very thing. They’re all about impressing others and buying things…
