When privileged people talk to you about success

People of privilege please stop speaking to me about your successes. Your success often isn’t a big success, well sometimes it is, but you know what I mean. All you did was put some effort into life. That’s what a lot of people miss, if they put a real effort into their goals they’d do well, and it’s because a lot of people are privileged.

You wouldn’t think that because so many people of privilege complain about how hard their life is. They’ve not had to lift a finger their entire lives so when they have to do anything they think it’s a struggle.

It’s not all about white people

I know the first thing that might come to your mind is white people, and that might be because of the image I used as well. Yes, white people are privileged when it comes to many things, but privilege comes in many different forms.

For example, someone who is mentally healthy is more privileged than someone who isn’t. They have the clarity and the lack of baggage to move forward in life with relative ease. But then again sometimes it does take insanity to reach the very top, I will admit that.

That being said, not all foreign people or POCs come from poor backgrounds and they can shut up as well. Don’t think I don’t notice the mixed people with a wealthy white…
