Why are people such cry babies at work?

I complain a lot about work but I wouldn’t consider myself a crybaby about it, one reason for that is this blog. If I didn’t have this form of expression maybe I would release that energy in a babyish way towards my work colleagues, but since I have this, and a few other outlets I don’t. Lucky for them.

When I’m at work, I’m pretty quiet and reasonable, and maybe that’s the cause of most of my problems. It seems like all the people who cry the most get what they want and go on the attack when they don’t. It shouldn’t be that way, but the workplace isn’t logical or fair.

People are not obligated to like you

No one is obligated to like you, not even the people you work closely with at your job. Just because you work at the same place it doesn’t mean that you’re going to like or be liked by anyone. Seems straightforward but many people don’t understand this.

They think that if someone doesn’t want to be their friend then they hate them and they’re a bad person. Most people are indifferent to you at work and why wouldn’t they be? Who are you? You’re not important in their life.

You’ve done nothing to build a real relationship with this person so why do you expect them to like you in any way? you’re not that guy.
